Scope and content:

This sub-subseries comprises records of the major Menshevik publication Sotsialisticheskii vestnik, which include correspondence, publications, and extensive files of editorial materials that contain holograph manuscripts and typescripts for typesetting, drafts of articles, final revises with holograph notes, and galley proofs with holograph notes. Organized in three parts: correspondence, magazine issues, and editorial materials. Chronological order within each part.

In the part of editorial materials, articles remain in original order, that is according to the issue's table of content, but for researchers' convenience, description provides their alphabetical list

This collection is located off-site. You will need to request this material at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.
