This collection contains holograph, typescript, and photocopied papers, correspondence, and photographs collected by Adriana Kleiman in the course of her research on the life and work of architect Frank Freeman (1861-1949), as well as many of his clients.

Biographical / historical:

Adriana Kleiman received her master's degree in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania in 1962 and was employed by the New York City Planning Commission. Over several decades, often with colleague Alan Burnham, she researched the life and work of Brooklyn-based architect Frank Freeman.
