This collection includes photographs taken by Robert Bien of historic and architecturally significant churches and railroads in New York City, New York State, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pensylvania, Québec, Rhode Island, Texas, and Toronto between 1982 and 2002.

Biographical / historical:

Robert Bien (1924-2002) was a New York City architect best-known for designing apartment buildings in Manhattan during the 1950s and 1960s.
