This collection consists of Wurzbach's notebooks, lab books, exams, essays, grade reports and lecture notes as an undergraduate student at Columbia College.
- Biographical / historical:

Frederick Alfred Wurzbach, Jr., was the son of Frederick A. and Amalia Alt Wurzbach. His father was a prominent businessman in the Bronx who had once served as the Director of the Bronx Eye and Ear Hospital. Wurzbach, Jr., received his B.S. from Columbia College in 1917, and his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1919. In 1945, he maintained an office in the Medical Arts Building, Grand Concourse, the Bronx, NY. Wurzbach died November 8, 1970.
