This collection consists of the correspondence and reports from the Eugene Higgins Scientific Trust, including records of the Board of Control.

Biographical / historical:

The Eugene Higgins Scientific Trust, established by Eugene Higgins CC 1882, supported basic research in the natural and physical sciences. The Board of Control is made up of the presidents of the Columbia, Harvard, Princeton and Yale, and the president of the United States Trust Company.
