Series VIII: Events, 1810s-2000s

Scope and content:

Newspaper and magazine clippings, press releases, programs, seating charts and other printed matter relating to various events held by and at Columbia University. This series is divided into three subseries. Subseries 1 consist of a wide array of events while Subseries 2 consists solely of annual lectures and lecture series. Folders in Subseries 1 and 2 are arranged alphabetically and chronologically in each subseries. Subseries 3 consists of typed transcripts of a variety of university events held from 1958-1976. In particular, there are many Journalism School lectures and events transcribed. Subseries 3 is organized chronologically.
