The Trible papers contain drafts and manuscripts of Trible's books, lectures, book reviews, and articles, as well as related correspondence.

Biographical / historical:

Phyllis Trible is a biblical scholar, a leading authority on feminist hermeneutics, and the Associate Dean and Professor of Biblical Studies at Wake Forest University's new School of Divinity. She has previously taught at Wake Forest University (1963-1971), Andover-Newton Theological School (1971-1979), and Union Theological Seminary in New York City (1980-1998), and served as a visiting professor at several other theological schools.
