Scope and content:

A comprehensive collection of working drawings and sketches, watercolor paintings, lithographs, proofs, manuscripts, and architectural drawings. There are illustrations for many books including Moby Dick, Beowulf, The Canterbury Tales, The Decameron, Paul Bunyan, Candide, and The Bridge of San Luis Rey, as well as illustrations for 18 of Kent's own books; bookplates for many well known people, magazine illustrations, advertising, posters, and graphic art work of many other types. Some correspondence is included, as well as many lithographs and woodblock prints by Kent's students and admirers.
