The 24 boxes of notebooks and 20 boxes of card files were partly prepared for publication at the time of her death.

Manuscript notebooks and card files for a bibliography of children's literature.

Biographical / historical:

Miss Shackleton's interests which included textbooks as well as literary works for children, took her to libraries and collectors in the United States and abroad. Columbia University A.B., 1914; A.M., 1915.
