Correspondence and catalogs of Seven Gables Bookshop, and some early letters from Collector's Bookshop and Papantonio's Bookshop. There are many letters in the collection from major universities and colleges and from famous collectors such as C. Waller Barrett, Thomas W. Streeter, Jacob Blanck, and Josiah K. Lilley. Also, miscellaneous correspondence and notes of John Kohn.

Bookstore in New York City with John Kohn and Michael Papantonio, proprietors. The two men were formerly independent bookdealers and operated Collector's Bookshop and Papantonio's Bookshop.

This collection is located off-site. You will need to request this material at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.
Please note that there is a problem with the box numbering of this collection which may result in delays in requesting the boxes from off-site. Patrons are requested to request the box number in the finding aid, as well as the box with the next highest number. For example, if you want box 90 you should request Box 90 AND Box 91.
