His correspondence contains letters from many prominent public administrators, historians, jurists, and politicians including Charles Beard, Edward Mead Earle, Felix Frankfurter, Herbert H. Lehman, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Harry S. Truman.

Biographical / historical:

Burgess Professor Emeritus of Public Law, Columbia University. Rogers was a distinguished teacher and writer in the fields of public administration and international politics and served on numerous special commissions and committees investigating government, labor, and industry activities.
