Graphic designer. Starting in 1927, Reichl designed more than 2,500 books for Alfred A. Knopf, Doubleday, Doran, and other publishers. His work was frequently chosen as one of the fifty books of the year by the American Institute of Graphic Arts. He also created trademarks, letterhead designs, and other commercial art.
