Subseries X.6: Pamphlets, 1836-1974

Scope and content:

This subseries contains over 4,000 pamphlets on a wide variety of subjects, including race issues, civil rights, foreign policy, war, religion, and many political and social ideologies, among others. They cover multiple viewpoints from extremist groups as well as those writing against them, and from religious groups, politicians, and government organizations. Pamphlets are arranged alphabetically by title or author.

Access and use

Parent restrictions:

This collection has no restrictions.

This collection is located both off-site and on-site. On-site materials include boxes 1-11 and oversize box 690. All other boxes are off-site. You will need to request off-site material at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.

Reproductions may be made for research purposes. The RBML maintains ownership of the physical material only. Copyright remains with the creator and their heirs. The responsibility to secure copyright permission rests with the patron.
