Series II. Photographs, 1890-1930

This series contains photographs, organized by subject, which were found in the home of Alice I. Hazeltine and transferred to the Columbiana Collection in 1959. The photographs feature bridges, roads, buildings and private homes. There is an extensive collection of mostly unidentified portraits from the 1890s to the 1910s, featuring groups of students from when Hazeltine was a student at Syracuse as well as presumably family and friends. There are also some personal portraits.

The following boxes are located off-site: Box 1. You will need to request this material from the Rare Book and Manuscript Library at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.

- Single photocopies may be made for research purposes. The RBML maintains ownership of the physical material only. Copyright remains with the creator and his/her heirs. The responsibility to secure copyright permission rests with the patron.
