Correspondence, notes, manuscripts, photographs, reprints, and subject files. The files consist primarily of note and manuscript material for his books, particularly THE ADVANCING FRONT OF MEDICINE (1941) and SCIENCE AT WAR (1943); and of extensive subject files of notes, clippings, and correspondence used in the preparation of a wide variety of articles and stories.

Journalist. Gray was the author of many articles and books on science for the layman.
