This subseries contains four sets of Subject Files or general files from the Library's Central Files. The A-Z sequences are organized chronologically: the first runs up to 1942 (Box 47 to Box 64); followed by two A-Z sequences covering from 1942 to 1960 (Box 65 to Box 128, and again Box 129 to Box 171); and a final sequence from 1950 to 1970 (Box 172 to Box 238).
