Scope and content:

Correspondence and manuscripts of Georgiĭ Golokhvastov including several drafts of his long narrative poem "Gibel' Atlantidy," drafts of his translation of "Slovo o polku Igoreve" into modern literary Russian and his extensive research files on "Slovo." Other poems include "Lebedinai︠a︡ pesni︠a︡," "Menuet," "Skazan'e o Nartsisse" and "Sonety." There are Golokhvastov's translations into Russian of works by Ovid, Petrarch, Edgar Allen Poe, Conrad Richter and Edna St. Vincent Millay.
