Correspondence, documents and photographs primarily relating to Greiner's years spent as a secretary for the American YMCA in the Soviet Union. There are numerous photographs of Greiner's family and friends in the U.S., and his summerhouse in Claverock, N.Y.
- Biographical / historical:

Born in Riga, Greiner graduated from the Moscow Imperial Conservatory of Music, and later became a piano salesman for J.F. Mùˆller in Moscow. From 1918 to 1920 he worked as a secretary for the American YMCA's mission to the Soviet Union, and from 1926 until his death in 1958 Greiner was the concert artist manager for Steinway & and Sons, piano manufacturers in New York.
