Samizdat edition of the poems of N.S. Gumilev, said by Rudolf Lowenthal to have been compiled by Russian students in 1939.

Biographical / historical:

Twentieth century Russian poet, one of the founders of the Acmeist movement. Gumilev was married to poet Anna Akhmatova from 1910 to 1918. In 1921 he was arrested and executed for anti-Soviet activities.
