Materials relating to the history of the Finland Regiment of the Imperial Russian Guards and to the activities of the emigre Finland Regiment Association (Obe̋dinenie Finli︠a︡ndskago Polka), an organization of former officers of the regiment, including correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, and printed materials. Although the regiment was founded in 1806, almost all the materials date from the 20th century. The voluminous correspondence largely consists of letters to Dmitriĭ I. Khodnev and leaders of the regimental association in the emigration. Manuscripts include a long memoir by Khodnev concerning his service in the regiment

in 1905-1918, and a large number of short articles by him on regimental history, the lives of members of the Romanov dyunasty, and other topics. Another long manuscript is a memoir of the regiment during the 1917 Revolution and Civil War by V.V. Ushakov. A large body of material reflects the activities of the regimental assocition and of the association of former Guards' officers (Gvardeĭskoe Obe̋dinenie). These include regulations, minutes, announcements, notices of meetings and membership records. There are subject files for materials bearing on the lives of individual members of the regiment, the regiment's participation in the various key events in Russian history , the units' operation in World War I. A virtually complete set of "Finli︠a︡ndet︠s︡" as well as the emigre periodicals and jubilee volumes of several other regiments are among the printed materials. There are also several pamphlets, colored lithographs, and architectural drawings. There is also a fine album of photographs of the regiment on active service in 1877-1878.
