Scope and content:: Two photocopies of a typescript (23 p.) of chapters 15 and 16 of an apparently longer work by Repin. The chapters are entitled"Oblastnoe upravlenie NKVD" and "Raionnyi otdel NKVD." The chapters discuss the functioning of the NKVD.
Biographical / historical:: Repin was, until 1943, a colonel in the frontier troops of the NKVD.
