Typescript memoir, entitled "Kornilovskii pokhod," of V. N. Birkin. The memoir, which is part 7 of a longer work entitled "Povesti minuvshkikh let" discusses Birkin's experiences in the first part of the Civil War.

Vasilii Nikolaevich Birkin (1880? – after 1939), Russian military officer, Colonel, author of memoirs and pedagogical works. In 1918 joined the Volunteer Army (Dobrovol'cheskaia armiia), with the Don Cadet Corps was evacuated to Egypt, then moved to Germany. In 1929 published two books in Berlin - "Molodye ofitsery" and "1904-1905 gody."
