Much of the correspondence and other materials relate to the United Committee to Aid Russians in Europe, which helped displaced persons; Kapat︠s︡inskiĭ chaired this body. Other materials concern the Russkoe Obʺedinennoe Obshchestvo Vzaimopomoshchi v Amerike (Russian Consolidated Mutual Aid Society of America -- ROOVA).
