The manuscript is a memoiristic novel dealing with the Revolution and the Civil War.

Biographical / historical:

Writer and journalist. In the emigration in France and then in the United States, Gurevich became involved in work for the reform of international law. His main work is "The Road to Peace and to Moral Democracy: An Encyclopedia of Peace" (International Universities Press, N.Y., 1955), for which he was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 1957.
