Typed copy of A. P. Balk's diary, with handwritten additions and corrections. The diary is entitled "Poslednie piat' dnei tsarskogo Petrograda (23-28 fevralia 1917 g.). Dnevnik poslednego Petrogradskogo Gradonachal'nika" (22 p.). This copy was apparently prepared by Balk while in Yugoslavia in 1923.

Aleksandr Pavlovich Balk (1866-1957), Russian statesman, Major General, St. Petersburg's governor from November 10, 1916 to February 27, 1917.
