A large scrapbook, created by Henry Nichols, Secretary of the Anti-Monopoly League in NY, documenting decades of work on the issue of monopoly and anti-monopoly organizing. The book contains newspaper clippings, pamphlets and event posters concerning the New York Anti-Monopoly League, labor union issues, the question of whether silver should replace gold as the monetary standard, various Democratic campaigns for local New York City councilmen, and a brief section of articles concerning Shakerism.
