Felicia begins the interview by talking about her birthplace and her first jobs. Felicia then recalls moving to Havana, where she built her house on an abandoned lot. Felicia recalls a violent relationship she had. She also recalls when she started taking birth control pills, her first menstruation, and when her father threw her out of the house for having premarital sex. Finally, Felicia reflects on racism in Cuba

Felicia comienza la entrevista dialogando sobre su lugar de nacimiento y sus primeros trabajos. Luego, Felicia recuerda la mudanza a La Habana, donde construyó su casa en un terreno abandonado. Felicia recuerda una relación de pareja violenta que tuvo. Biographical / historical:

Felicia nació en Zagua de Tano, Cuba, en 1957. Su padre era carnicero y su madre, modista. Cuando Felicia tenía catorce años, falleció su mamá, y ella comenzó a trabajar de maestra. Luego, se mudó a Guantánamo, donde trabajó como sanitaria en la zafra. Luego, trabajó como modista y costurera en diferentes fábricas. También vivió en La Habana. Tuvo una hija y se casó con un pescador. Felicia fue entrevistada para el proyecto que culminó en la publicación del libro How Things Fall Apart. El nombre es un seudónimo para el proyecto

Felicia was born in Zagua de Tano, Cuba, in 1957. Her father was a butcher and her mother a dressmaker. When Felicia was fourteen years old, her mother died, and she began working as a teacher. She then moved to Guantánamo, where she worked as a sanitary worker in the sugarcane harvest. Later, she worked as a dressmaker and tailor in different factories. He also lived in Havana. She had a daughter and married a fisherman. Felicia was interviewed for the project that led to the book How Things Fall Apart. The name is a pseudonym for the project
