Correspondence, minutes, notes, memos, and pamphlets documenting the National Committee on Immigration and Citizenship's pro-immigration efforts in the early 1950s.

Biographical / historical:

Winifred Armstrong helped found and became the executive director of the Young Citizens Committee on Immigration and Citizenship in 1953, which became the National Committee on Immigration and Citizenship. The Committee was supported by Senator Herbert H. Lehman, and worked closely with Lehamn staffer Julius Edelstein.
