This collections contains the photographs and some research files kept by the Columbia College Today staff and used for the production of the alumni magazine. There are photographs of former students (not from their student days), class reunions, faculty and administrators, and Columbia campus views and events.

Biographical / historical:

Columbia College Today is the alumni magazine of Columbia College, the undergraduate liberal arts college at Columbia University in the City of New York. First published in 1954, it is now published three times a year by the Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs and Development for College alumni, faculty, parents, students and friends. Issues include profiles of alumni, professors and students; College news; book excerpts; letters from senior staff; Class Notes; Bookshelf; Obituaries; and first-person accounts, along with event coverage (e.g., reunion, Homecoming).

Single photocopies may be made for research purposes. Permission to publish material from the collection must be requested from the University Archivist, Rare Book and Manuscript Library (RBML). The RBML approves permission to publish that which it physically owns; the responsibility to secure copyright permission rests with the patron.
