Series XI: Audio Visual

Scope and content:

Series XI comprise audiovisual materials arranged by project and media format. Subseries 1 consists of audiocassettes submitted by composers to the Pacific Music Festival/Pacific Composers Conference (corresponding with Series IX) as well as recordings of seminars, discussion sessions, presentations, and concerts. Subseries 2 includes audio recordings of meetings and video recordings of trips, local performances, and documentary films. Subseries 3 comprise miscellaneous audio/video recordings of trips, events, and interviews with Chou and others. Subseries 4 is a collection of commercial music records in 12-, 10-, and 7-inch diameter. They are published music in the genres of symphony, Chinese folk music, Peking opera, and revolutionary/model opera.
