John B. Trevor was an American lawyer and one of Riverside Church's Advisory Building Committee members. John D. Rockefeller, Jr., financier and philanthropist, funded the construction of Riverside Church, which opened in 1930. Charles Collens and Henry C. Pelton designed the Church.
