A collection of unparalleled documentation of Golden Age artists and publishers, much of which has not been seen by the public.

Biographical / historical:

Hames Ware was one of the pioneers of comics fandom, co-editing the seminal WHO'S WHO IN AMERICAN COMIC BOOKS with the late Jerry Bails beginning in 1973. His fascination with non-superhero Golden Age comics, his uncanny eye for identifying artists (he has close to 400 IDs to his credit in the Grand Comics Database), and his undying curiosity enabled him to assemble this resource.
