This collection consists of deeds from various land transactions and gifts of property from donors to Columbia University.

Deeds and gift records were transferred to the University Archives by Barbara Holahan, Associate Treasurer, in August 2001. The legal agreements were formerly in a vault in the Chase Manhattan Bank.
