Scope and content:

The collection will eventually encompass his original art, sketchbooks (dating back to high school), correspondence, and the legal records of the lawsuit lodged against him by political cartoonist Ted Rall. The present installment includes original art on acetate from the years 1995 and 1996.

Biographical / historical:

Danny Hellman is a Queens-born cartoonist and illustrator, and a graduate of the High School of Art & Design. He has drawn for both mainstream and alternativ--even underground--publications, and has drawn and edited comics and comics anthologies.
