In the 1980s, Eric Orr was a graffiti artist, cartoonist, and designer of hip-hop logos and t-shirts. He created the first hip-hop comic book--Max, the Rappin' Robot--in 1986, and did graffiti jams in the subways with Keith Haring. This small collection of materials, primarily from 1984 through 1986, highlights the intersection of comics and hip-hop in New York.
