There are letters, photos, manuscripts, fan mail (as well as may of the actual "Dolores Dice" letters from people all over the country), recordings, and music scores of her plays. There is some unpublished work in various genres, including essays, poetry, teleplays, and theater.
Prida kept invaluable notes and correspondence about the "dialogueros" young Cuban Americans who were important in opening Cuba for family visits in the 1970s (not much is known about the inner workings of the process and New York's role in it).

Dolores Prida. Born Dolores Obdulia Prida, Caibarié́n, Cuba, Sept. 5, 1943. Moved to New York City, 1961. Died January 20, 2013], Manhattan, aged 69. Journalist and playwright who wrote candidly and wittily about local and national politics, romance and other personal matters, and the joys and vexations of the Hispanic experience in America.
