Photographs (315) taken by Eddia Locke of jazz musicians and performances between the 1950s and 1970s. Group One comprises photographs 1-55; Group Two, photographs 56-109; Group Three, photographs 110-169; Group Four, photographs 170-223; Group Five, photograph 224-277; Group 6, photographs 278-315 There is a cd with 315 tiff images, as well as six print outs of the images. In Box 2 there are two folders and 3 photograph albums containing the original photographs, as well as a few photographs which are not included in the cd or in the print-outs.

Eddie Locke was born in a Detroit on August 2, 1930. He became a jazz drummer in Detroit and moved to New York City in 1954. Locke worked with many jazz musicians, including Roy Eldridge and Coleman Hawkins. He died on September 7, 2009 in New Jersey.
