Boys, Butches and Bros (BBB) was founded in 2021 with a focus on building trans, nonbinary and gender non-conforming community on campus. Their mission statement says "Our mission is to provide a space for trans and gender non-conforming students at Barnard. We aim to promote connection between students of similar gender experience and to foster the personal growth of members through community. Through this, we aim to advance conversations around gender and gender experience on campus, with the goal of increasing awareness of issues faced by trans and gender non-conforming students" (BBB Instagram Post, 2023).
