This collection is comprised of four notebooks that Marion Haskell created as a young girl. In the notebooks, Haskell creates pages of cut and paste collages depicting women in roles such as "Engaged," "Young Mothers," and "Cooking." Haskell also goes beyond these more traditional roles to characterize "The College Girl," "Suffragette," and "The Kodak Girl," for instance. In her notebooks, Haskell also interviews her friends, logging their responses to questions such as "what is your favorite girl's college," and "what is love?" Marion Haskell (later Fehrs) graduated in the Barnard class of 1921.
