The Gertrude C. Clark Hitchcock was compiled during Hitchcock's time as a Barnard undergraduate. Materials in the scrapbook consists mainly of examinations, clippings related to Barnard, commencement materials, and theatre programs.

Gertrude C. Clark Hitchcock's scrapbook contains her extrance examinations from 1898-1900 and final examinations from 1900-1902. The scrapbook also includes commencement materials, class day information, and programs from various theatre performances. Of note are handwritten lyrics to the Barnard class song.
