Scope and content:

The collection consists of materials that document the history of the Religion Department at Barnard College. Included in the first folder of the collection are: two syllabi from the 1916-1917 school year, flyers and pamphlets about Elie Wiesel's speaking engagements at Barnard College, and an article about Elie Wiesel's 1998 lecture from the Columbia Spectator. The second folder contains a program (1998) for the Elie Wiesel Lecture Series and a copyright form for Prof. Alan Segal's written and taped material titled "Judaism in the Time of Jesus."
