The Serge Hollerbach Papers consist of correspondence, photographs, sketchbooks and artworks, writings, notebooks, biographical materials, documents related to the life and career of Serge Hollerbach, Russian émigré artist, critic and author. The collection documents Hollerbach's art and written legacy (published and unpublished) in academic, literary, and journalistic formats.

The Boris Rabbot Papers consist of the writings, lectures, notes, correspondence, personal documents, post-doctoral dissertation, photographs, research and reference materials related to the professional activities of Boris Rabbot—one of the first Soviet sociologists employed at the pioneering Institute for Concrete Social Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (IKSI) and an influential intellectual who tried to introduce a policy of liberalization within the Soviet system in the mid-1960s - early 1970s. The collection reflects Rabbot's professional life both in the USSR and USA. The collection gives an unprecedented insider's view into the workings of the Politburo and also traces the early development of a previously banned social science discipline, sociology, in the Soviet Union.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, subject files and printed material of Vladimir M. Zenzinov (1880-1953), writer, member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party and émigré activist first in France and, after 1940, in the United States.

The Aleksandr Kazem-Bek Papers consist of correspondence, family and personal documents, writings, lectures, notes, manuscripts, photographs, printed materials, and research materials related to the life and professional and political activities of Aleksandr Kazem-Bek – Russian émigré social and political activist, founder and leader of the "Union of Young Russia" ("Mladorossy"), professor of Russian language and literature, and journalist. The collection contains significant documents of the "Mladorossy" movement.

Papers of George Vernadsky (Georgii Vladimirovich Vernadskii, 1887-1973), Yale University professor of Russian history. The collection also includes materials from the Vernadsky/Vernadskii family, especially George Vernadsky's wife, Nina Vernadsky, his parents, Vladimir Vernadskii and Nataliia Vernadskaia, and his sister, Nina Toll'.

The Joanna Wan-Ying Chan papers (陳尹瑩檔案) document the tale of a Hong Kong native, a US immigrant, a Maryknoll sister, and ultimately an artist and a trail-blazing playwright and stage director in Chinese-American theatre as well as Cantonese-language theatre in Hong Kong. The collection consists of Joanna Chan's personal materials as well as the records for three theatrical repertories: Four Seas Players, Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, dating from 1970-2020. Also included are files related to her collaborative and inspiring work and involvement in the Sing Sing Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program, dating from 2001-2020. The highlight and the bulk of the collection is in Series IV: Production Files, which focuses on the creative theatrical productions directed and produced by Joanna Chan.
