Some of the embassy files also contain information relating to the conflicts and issues in Europe at the time such as the refugee situation as the Embassy was impacted by the political situation in the region.

Other than contracts, financial estimates, costs and fee and statements, the Records sub-series includes mainly correspondences between architects, owner (the Cabinet of Shams Pahlavi), clerk of works (Tom Casey), associate architect (Nezam Amery), contractors, consultants and suppliers. A few photos, some hand-drawn furniture designs and Christmas card designs are also documented in the records. Two construction logbooks included in the collection recorded the day-by-day activities on the construction site from 1969 to 1973. Last part of the records is the documentation of the litigation process after 1979 when the royal family fled to the United States without settling their accounts with TAA. The lawsuit involves the accounts for both Pearl Palace and the Mehrafarin Villa. The content of each folder in this series is ordered chronologically.

Both during and after her service at the Children's Bureau, Lenroot was concerned with international and inter-American child welfare, and this subseries contains documents and photographs associated with the Pan-American Child Congresses, the League of Nations, and the United Nations and UNICEF. The subseries also includes Lenroot's own account of the history of the Children's Bureau's international activities.

1.67 linear feetCollection of nearly 100 documents, mostly handwritten in Tibetan, produced or gathered by the Neighborhood Committee Number Three (Tib. Grong lhan ang gsum pa) in Lhasa, primarily from 1959-1972. About one-third of the materials are handwritten registries from 1959-1961, listing residents, personal property, and alleged crimes. A second set of materials include four notebooks and other statements documenting struggle sessions against Lhamon Yeshe Tsultrim (Tib. Lha-smon Ye-shes-tshul-khrims, 1913-77), a senior secretary for the Panchen Lama at Tashilhunpo Monastery. In sum, these papers constitute primary resources for the study of the Democratic Reforms campaign (Tib. Dmangs gtso bco ʼgyur ; Ch. Min zhu gai ge), as implemented in Tibet. The remaining materials date to the Cultural Revolution, particularly 1966-1972, and include the personal files of previous landowners, transcripts of self-criticisms, and several other autobiographical statements. The collection also includes a handful of published documents (handbills, study-books, and speeches).

These materials were written in conjunction with the introduction of "Democratic Reforms" [dmangs gtso bcos ʼgyur] in Lhasa, starting in 1959. Arranged by personal name of subject as spelled on the document, with alternative spellings of the name in parentheses. All translations are in English, and rendered by Matthew Akester and Tupten Khétsun, unless otherwise noted.

Included here are the many ledger books that detail the everyday workings of Harper & Brothers. General journals, in which notes on everyday operating procedure were kept, span from 1896 through 1940. The series contains royalty ledgers kept from 1881 to 1926, and separate English royalty ledgers from 1901 to 1919, and 1921 -1926. General ledgers and account books are here, as well as ledgers dealing with preferred and common stock.

It includes a detailed account of his experience in the report "Russia after Stalin," several articles on Russian culture written for magazines, a copy of his book,The Red Carpet, and handwritten notes about trip, though it is unclear whether these were written while traveling or afterward. It also contains reports and clippings about the region and ephemera collected on the trip, such as tourist brochures, clothing catalogs, booklets on architecture, and newspapers.

Contains materials for one of Darden's earlier works, which was submitted to the "From Here to Eternity" exhibition. This project set up an allegorical museum dedicated to historical American impostors. Situated in the Baltimore Harbor Water Gap, the project research included in this subseries concentrates on nearby historical sites and figures, such as Fort McHenry, Francis Scott Key, the Lazaretto, Interstate Highway 95, and the Lehigh Cement Factory. Also included is the semi-fictionalized account of Sarah Wilson, along with notes and drafts, and a few drawings.
