This collection consist of the papers, manuscripts, correspondence, notes, audiotapes, and photographs of Vera Blackwell. The collection relates both to her translations, as well as to her writing, poetry, TV/radio scripts, and personal travels. There is a significant amount of personal correspondence and photographs.

Professional files of Seth Low Emeritus Professor of History at Columbia University, Volker R. Berghahn. Materials include documents related to Columbia's Institute for the Study of Europe (now European Institute) of which he was director, records related to his professional associations, and correspondence files (in English and German). Correspondence includes many letters focused on the major debates among historians of modern Germany in which he has been involved. Also files of articles, book reviews, lectures and obituaries written by Berghahn as well as teaching evaluations from his students.

Typed memoirs ""Wie ich 'Kollaborateur' wurde" by Valentinov. He primarily describes his service in the Red Army, his life as a prisoner of war, and the activities of the NKVD, the Russian Liberation Army, and the Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia (Komitet Osvobozhdenii︠a︡ Narodov Rossii).

Correspondence, documents, photographs, and printed materials documenting his displacement in Europe, his emigration to the United States, and the legal steps he took to obtain reparations from Germany.

This collection contains architectural records, student work, correspondence and professional writings related to the academic and architectural practice of Walter Sobotka. The largest portion of the collection, Series 1, relates to his architectural practice and contains drawings, files, and a scrapbook of photographs and articles pertaining to his work in Europe and America. The majority of his projects consisted of residential buildings and interiors in Austria along with furniture designs. However, there is also a selection of theater interiors that Sobotka designed for RKO across the United States. Series 2 contains a limited selection of Sobotka's lectures and writings, as well as correspondence. This series also contains material relating to two of his unpublished writings, The Prefabricated House and Principles of Design, including copies of the manuscripts, correspondence with publishers, and research materials. A bound version of Principles of Design is catalogued separately and contains an appendix in which Sobotka translated into English excerpts of his correspondence with the Viennese architect Josef Frank. Series 3 contains some artwork and student drawings, as well as a few personal letters.

The collection includes typescript libretti of Obkircher's operas and plays including KURT UND MARIANNE; OPFER; UNSCHULDIG; WAHL; and WILHELM KÜHNER, and of his collected poems. These are bound in eight volumes and are all in German. Most of these are signed by Obkircher. There are also two letters from Obkircher.
